Pilot episode, show Bible, and a six-pack of animated adventures
Surf Soup® is leaping off the page and onto the screen! Creator Donna Kay Lau is currently developing the pilot episode, a full show Bible, and a six-pack of introductory episodes that bring the Surf Soup® universe to life in animation.
At the heart of the cartoon is Koa — the kid with a TV on his head — and his friends, who surf through fun, music, and meaningful lessons while inspiring kindness, creativity, and curiosity.
Fans can get a sneak peek of this work-in-progress on the Surf Soup® TV YouTube channel (@surfsouptv), where behind-the-scenes clips, early character moments, and creative updates are shared.
The cartoon builds on the Surf Soup® picture book series, expanding beloved characters and stories into a vibrant animated world for kids and families everywhere.
