Together, they embark on field trips around the world in Holo Holo, the flying surf van, and gather in Auntie Donna's animation studio to create the show. 

"Surf Soup TV" is not only fun and engaging but also incorporates important themes of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, technology, engineering, Art, and Math) and S.E.L. (social emotional learning). With the help of Auntie Donna and Prana the Piranha, who teaches kids about yoga, fitness, nutrition, and mindfulness, children can learn valuable skills that will help them succeed in life. The accompanying "Surf Soup" book series is just as exciting, with each book featuring a unique adventure that incorporates important themes of friendship, teamwork, and environmental awareness. Children can follow along with their sketchbooks and journals, learning from the lessons taught in schools and on "Surf Soup TV." And at the end of each book, kids' cartoons and drawings may appear, showcasing their creative talent.
